Agility at scale in the Côte d' Azur

The sky is the limit: our work in the global travel industry

Our client is a major player in the global travel- and tourism industry. This client has locations all over the world; our assignment was based in France, at the Côte d'Azur.

What they asked

BlinkLane was approached to help with an agile transformation. This involved the following goals:

  • Shorter time-to-market for IT product development and services;
  • Closer customer collaboration to adapt to fast-changing needs;
  • Increase innovation capabilities.

What we’ve been doing

BlinkLane was asked to support the company-wide agility program to scale agility to all units and hierarchical levels. We started the transformation with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in one of the departments and have since grown to the rest of the organization.

We strive for end-to-end transformation vertically and horizontally. This means we don’t just focus on the IT development teams, but we also coach top management, and we cover all types of teams contributing to the value delivery.

In addition, we work closely and together with the change teams who are responsible for managing the end-to-end transformations in parts of the organization. We teach them the skills and knowledge they need to autonomously improve their organization further - even long after we’re gone.

One of our consultants about this collaboration

“Working with this client is an absolute blast. They are a pioneer of the digital age, with innovative online propositions flying about at every turn. We work together closely, and we’ve been doing so for a while now. We’ve become friends as well as partners, frankly. Also, our client happens to be located in one of the most pleasant cities in Europe – Nice, at the Côte d’Azur.”
